PROJECT

“Insight – Independence – Initiative:

Transversal Entrepreneurship Skills Training Project”

Project Nr 2023-2-PL01-KA210-VET-000181496 is a cooperation project funded by the Erasmus + programme and co-developed by partners from Poland and Bulgaria.

CONTEXT

The project stimulates and strengthens entrepreneurship education by developing and offering a new competency model of transversal entrepreneurial skills ‘3I: Insight – Independence – Initiative’ for implementation in VET environments, both in formal and non-formal forms of education.

The 3I model is universal and transversal to the European EntreComp framework and, of all its descriptors, isolates those that relate to the general category of entrepreneurial attitudes and behaviours, primary, however, to the entrepreneurial orientation that determines the subsequent development of specific and contextual entrepreneurial competences. This also accounts for the unique applicability of the 3I model, also outside the VET sector.

OBJECTIVES

The project aims to improve the development, validation and recognition of transversal entrepreneurial skills at different stages and levels of entrepreneurship teaching in VET. It includes the operationalisation of the European Competence Framework by developing a universal and integrated methodological approach to teaching transversal entrepreneurial skills in 3 synthetic competence areas: Insight – Independence – Initiative = 3I model.

Specific aims and outcomes of the project:

  • Review of the European Competences Framework in terms of definition, valorisation, recognition and support of transversal entrepreneurial skills
  • Development and dissemination of a conceptual model for assessing, shaping and reinforcing transversal entrepreneurial skills
  • Increase knowledge, awareness and skills of VET educators on practices, initiatives and tools to support transversal entrepreneurial skills
  • Increase in partners’ substantive capacity and internationalisation of activities through joint project planning and implementation,
  • Development of international partnerships and networking through implemented project activities.
